Ever since I started my health journey, I have been on a mission to find healthy snack options that fit my current lifestyle. During this, I came across some Kale Chips and Beetroot Chips from Euro Store, which I definitely had to try! Don’t get me wrong, they didn’t taste bad but it quite didn’t hit right.
This was when I thought to myself, I can definitely make this, and make it even better! That’s when this idea came to me, and honestly it has changed my snack game. It has everything a good snack should be; crispy, flavorful and ready in under 15 minutes. Barely takes any effort at all.
The secret is in the prep. Getting the kale completely dry before it goes anywhere near the air fryer is what separates genuinely crispy chips from sad, soggy leaves. Once it’s dry, a good massage with olive oil makes sure every leaf is evenly coated, and the lemon pepper seasoning adds that punchy, tangy kick that makes these seriously hard to stop eating. That season is definitely the secret weapon here.
They’re light enough to snack on guilt-free, naturally low in calories, and packed with vitamins and antioxidants that your body will thank you for. Whether you’re eating clean, managing your macros, or just looking for something crunchy that isn’t going to derail your day, these deliver every time.
Make them fresh, eat them immediately, and try not to finish the whole batch before they make it to the bowl!

Crispy Kale Chips
Ingredients
- Fresh Kale
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- Lemon Pepper Seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Wash the kale thoroughly and dry it completely. This is the most important step. Any moisture will steam the kale instead of crisping it up. Pat dry with a paper towel or spin in a salad spinner.
- Tear the kale leaves away from the tough stems and break into chip-sized pieces. Discard the stems.
- Place the kale in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and massage it into every leaf until evenly coated. Season generously with lemon pepper seasoning and toss well.
- Arrange the kale in a single layer in your air fryer basket, don't overcrowd or they won't crisp up. Air fry at 180°C for 6–8 minutes, checking at the 5 minute mark. They should be crispy and slightly golden at the edges but not burnt.
- Serve immediately. Kale chips are best fresh and crispy straight from the air fryer.
